The Data Management & Analytics team of Lumanity is looking for a (senior) data scientist to join our growing team. Do you have an affinity with data from healthcare and do you like to unlock insights from real world data on a daily basis? Do you see patterns in data and do you like to make them transparent to others? Are you highly analytical and would you like to develop further as a data scientist?

The Data Management & Analytics team works together to improve patient care by optimizing patient data and conducting scientific research.

Together with other employees of Data Management & Analytics you are responsible for analyzing, modeling and visualizing data for the disclosure of information for customers. You develop algorithms using the latest Azure technology, design reports in PowerBI, optimize performance for near real time delivery and monitor data quality through data mining and natural language processing.

This role offers the unique opportunity to combine you programming knowledge, passion for data, commercial craftsmanship, and social involvement.

Qualifications

  • Education in the the field of exact sciences
  • Knowledge and experience with programming preferably SQL and/or Python and/or R, and databases (experience with the Azure platform is an advantage)
  • Experience in transforming, analyzing, and visualizing big data;
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills and is creative in finding solutions;
  • Can think along with and has a substantive eye for the developments within his/her field;
  • Customer-oriented, communicative and business-oriented attitude;
  • Recognizes themselves in the following qualities: committed, go-getter, creative, honest and clear, flexible.
