We are looking for an experienced Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Administrator to join our leading Financial Services customer on a full-time, freelance basis. In this role, you’ll take charge of the Power BI environment, ensuring smooth operations, top-tier governance, and seamless integrations across the company.

With your extensive experience in Power BI Service and Microsoft Fabric Administration, you'll lead the way in configuring tenant settings and implementing robust governance frameworks to ensure data is handled securely and efficiently. Your expertise in Power Query and DAX will allow you to transform, merge, append, and shape data from various sources, helping teams make data-driven decisions faster.

You will be responsible for building and managing deployment pipelines and shared datasets within Power BI Service, ensuring the smooth movement of reports and dashboards from development to production. In addition, your skills with tools like PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps, GitHub, and Power BI REST APIs will be essential in automating workflows and enhancing operational efficiency. As part of your key responsibilities, you’ll lead the DevOps efforts, automating the deployment of Power BI solutions and implementing version control mechanisms using GitHub and Deployment pipelines. Security will be at the heart of everything you do, as you design and implement governance measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
