C++ Software Engineer / Developer (C++ STL Boost) Lisbon to €37,000

Do you have C++ and multi-threading skills? You could be joining a scientific software company and working on "Tech for Good" software that enables research scientists to record and analyse their findings in the field; an example of a current project is the effect of wind farms on migrating birds and other wildlife. The multi-threaded platform manages large volumes of data and is highly complex.

As a C++ Software Engineer you'll be collaboratively problem solving and partnering with scientists and biologists within an R&D environment to develop core C++ backend components that interact with the hardware as well as researching new product lines and evaluating new technologies that could be introduced to the stack. They're working on a project to track bird migrations and turn off windfarms / turbines as and when necessary.

Location:

You'll join colleagues in the Lisbon office four days a week with flexibility to work from home one day a week.

About you:

• You have C++ development experience including STL, Boost and multi-threading
• You're degree educated in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or similar and have also achieved a Master's degree / MSc
• You have fluent English language skills, Portuguese language skills also nice to have (please send your application in English)
