Information Technology Intern

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated IT Intern with a passion for technology and a desire to learn. As an IT Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of IT infrastructure and software development and implementation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

At the initial stage, this is an unpaid internship with the possibility to become a full-time position, depending on your experience, results, and self-driven attitude.

Responsibilities:

·        Assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues for employees.

·        Provide support in maintaining and configuring company and BYOD workstations.

·        Contribute to the development and maintenance of websites using PHP and Symfony framework.

·        Support in managing and customizing WordPress websites.

·        Collaborate with team members on various IT projects.

·        Perform general administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

·        Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

·        Basic knowledge of programming languages, particularly PHP and familiarity with the Symfony framework.

·        Understanding of WordPress platform and its customization.

·        Basic understanding of DNS, IP configurations, and Windows operating systems.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of the MS365 suite would be a plus.

·        Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

·        Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred, but this internship position is open to students currently enrolled in a postgraduate program, professionals who are looking to change their career direction or looking to work in an international environment and explore US market opportunities.
