DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our client. Our client is a leading global company in the manufacturing sector.

Tasks

• Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize our container environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and minimize downtime for frontend and backend services.
• Platform Solutions: Oversee the configuration, deployment, upgrade, and management of our platform products, including AWS, SAP Hybris / Commerce Cloud, Kafka for event streaming, and many more.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and deployment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to provide support and solutions for various infrastructure and platform needs for their applications.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting processes to ensure timely identification and resolution of issues.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure that all platform solutions and infrastructure components adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.

1. Experience with CI/CD tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins or equivalent. Experience with Apache ANT is a plus.
2. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring and observability tools (e.g., NewRelic, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).
3. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Java, PHP, Python) for automation.
4. Solid experience with AWS cloud platform, SAP Hybris / Commerce Cloud is a plus.
5. Familiarity with AWS Kafka is a plus.
