MacGregor Black is partnering with a Market-leading Sporting Goods Retailer to find a Digital Manager for their Scandinavian operations. This role is at the heart of digital transformation, combining creativity, data, and strategy to drive growth and brand presence across the Nordic region.
About the Role:
As the Digital Manager, you will take ownership of digital initiatives across Scandinavian markets, ensuring consistent brand messaging and exceptional customer engagement. You will oversee the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, leveraging analytics and insights to optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy tailored to Scandinavian markets.
- Manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing, to maximize brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with e-commerce, IT, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of digital efforts across channels.
- Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and refine strategies.
- Optimize digital performance through data-driven insights and A/B testing, focusing on key KPIs like traffic, conversion, and retention.
- Ensure localization of content and campaigns to resonate with Scandinavian audiences.
- Build and maintain relationships with external digital partners and agencies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or digital management, preferably within the sporting goods, retail, or fashion industry.
- Proven expertise in Scandinavian markets with a strong understanding of local consumer behavior and trends.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Centra, or Magento is a plus.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in a Scandinavian language (e.g., Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) is highly desirable.
