IT Project Manager (SCM Systems)

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to lead the successful implementation and ongoing support of Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SCM principles and a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget. This role requires a collaborative and results-oriented individual with excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Manage project resources effectively, including internal IT teams, external vendors, and consultants.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues proactively, and ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
• Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project progress and any potential roadblocks.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
• Implement and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
• Ensure adherence to project methodologies and best practices, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Provide post-implementation support for SCM systems, including user training, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in SCM and IT project management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT project management processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with a strong focus on SCM systems implementations.
• Proven experience in managing complex IT projects within budget and on schedule.
• Strong understanding of SCM principles and best practices, including planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain visibility.
• Experience with SAP environment
• Experience in manufacturing industries (e.g., pharmaceutical, consumer electronics, semiconductor, medical devices) is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership, motivation, and organizational skills.
• PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
