Location: San Francisco, CA -Hybrid once a week onsite

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Fullstack Java Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and be capable of designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications that support client's business needs.

You will work across the entire stack, from backend services and databases to front-end user interfaces, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
  • Build responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React and Angular.
  • Work closely with product teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and ensure integration with external systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality through code reviews, unit testing, and automated testing.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and maintain applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js.
  • Proficient with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based services.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
  • Must have some experience with Data processing tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
