Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python SDET Engineer with a background in embedded testing and Python automation, who will be responsible for developing automated solutions to enhance infrastructure functionality and ensure its ongoing maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities

Test framework development using Python 3.9: development and support of test frameworks, including libraries, tools, hardware abstraction layer and sensors emulation
Collaborating with SDET teams to improve and develop existing framework for all automation streams
Participate in General QA mentorship activities: support, automation test creation and code review

Qualifications and Skills

2+ years of commercial experience in software development or testing
Strong Python knowledge
Experience with Linux systems
Strong CS fundamentals
Experience in writing development support tools such as parsers, profilers, data visualization tools etc.
Understanding the DevOps and CI tools (Jenkins, Gerrit)
Understanding the classic test pyramid
Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

Experience with Raspberry Pi / Arduino
Experience in embedded SW development
Familiarity with AWS services
Experience with 802.11 protocols
Experience with audio/video data streaming
Other scripting languages experience (e.g., Bash, Groovy) is an asset
