About the role

We are expanding our Digital Design & Innovation team in Amsterdam and are therefore looking for a Senior Product Manager. The Digital team is working every day on accelerating digital innovation and transformation for financial institutions by creating experiences for users through research, design, engineering, and product expertise. As part of that team, you will provide strategic consulting and creative delivery for Synechron’s digital projects that is passionate about new technologies and excel in a multitude of different disciplines.

As a Senior Product Manager in the Digital team, you play a key role in accelerating digital innovation and transformation for financial institutions, providing strategic consulting, creative delivery, and tech-oriented business expertise. Responsibilities

• Able to fulfill a tech-oriented business role (Product Manager/Owner) in delivery teams at the client side
• Acting as bridge between engineers, end-consumers and stakeholders in further shaping the product
• Advising clients in a professional and consistent manner in areas including Design and Product Delivery
• Able to quickly inherit and understand the context and area of expertise in which the product is being managed and maintained
• Committed to team and taking full ownership of deliverables. This includes scope, requirements, timelines, and implementation
• Building and managing strong (client) relationships, also when working remotely. Know how to tap other’s knowledge for successful delivery
• Articulating and presenting creative/strategic ideas to teams and clients
• Actively participating in developing the practice, including research, attending events, and client pitches. Acting as mentor for junior members of the team by sharing knowledge and experience
• Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends.

What You Bring:

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
• 5+ years of experience in a role of Product Manager / Product Owner, (IT) Project Manager and/or Business Analyst
• Master’s degree preferably in Business Economics / Administration, Finance, Strategic Innovation, Innovation Management, Software & Information Engineering or a similar study
• Experience with driving/leading (digital) transformation projects, preferably within the Financial Services industry
• Well-informed about latest development regarding relevant technologies and strategic pillars in the Banking industry
• Ability to effectively partner with business and technology stakeholders to design, pitch and implement Digital solutions
• Ability to understand business metrics and translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
• Attention to detail and feel for the bigger picture
• Entrepreneurial, analytical, results-oriented, and good communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team: enjoy working with customers and sharing knowledge with colleagues
• You are in key words: ambitious, strong analytical skills, pragmatic, result-driven, entrepreneurship, self-starter, persistence, and enthusiasm and eligible to work in The Netherlands.
