Back-End Engineer (Home-Based Europe)

Tripaneer is looking for a full-time home-based Software Engineer, based in Europe, who can provide Back-End Engineering services.

We are currently looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join us in building a global leader in multi-day themed travel experience ( www.bookyogaretreats.com , www.booksurfcamps.com , www.tripaneer.com ).

We are looking for a Software Engineer who can take ownership of projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for delivering reusable-maintainable code, as well as understanding the impact of your code on the whole infrastructure.

The position is a full-time remote position with a work from home setting. You will be working alongside the developers and designers in the product team as well as collaborate with our business owners, operations team, marketing team, and customer service team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, flexible and high performance systems
• Solve issues on current infrastructure
• Collaborate with the team to prioritize new projects based on customer impact
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Excellent English communication skills
• 2-3 years of relevant development experience in backend web stack (Java, C++)
• Experience in implementing RESTful web services and web applications
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Knowledge of MySQL (or similar)
• Proper registration as an independent contractor in your country of main residence from where you will be delivering the services is a hard requirement

• Experience with data-driven product development: analytics, A/B testing, etc.
• Experience investigating and solving performance problems
