We, as Media Technology & IT department, are responsible for all media technology within the Red Bull Media House. We operate over a hundred different applications and tools; from our self-developed media platform to one of the most technically advanced TV studios in Europe.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
SOLUTION DESIGN
In this exciting internship, you’ll assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions in collaboration with our stakeholders and engineering teams. As part of our team, you'll work closely with our experienced cloud engineers and have the chance to learn and apply your skills in a professional setting.

FROM IDEA TO PRODUCTION
During the internship, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the entire lifecycle of cloud-based projects, from idea to production. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll assist in translating business requirements into scalable and secure cloud solutions. You'll also gain hands-on experience in designing and deploying cloud infrastructure using leading platforms, implementing DevOps practices, and monitoring performance while staying updated with the latest technologies.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Bash)
- Advanced undergraduate student, post graduate student, or recent graduates (Bachelor’s / Master's degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems
- Strong interest in cloud computing and a desire to learn and grow in this field
- Ability and courage to challenge the status quo as well as the willingness to investigate new technologies
- An interest in Developer Experience is desirable
- Affinity for media & technology is a plus
- Self-driven, communicative team player with a problem-solving and analytical mindset
