Java Team Lead Developer

JAVA / SPRING/ REST/ ANGULAR/ CI/CD / Kubernetes/ AGILE

On behalf of our clients operating in the public sector, we are recruiting Java Team Lead Developer for a long-term assignment.

As a Java Developer, your primary mission is to oversee and guide the migration and maintenance of critical applications handling vast volumes of data. This involves ensuring the seamless transition of legacy systems to modern platforms while maintaining data integrity, security, and performance.

Tasks:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Java migration strategy for applications, using Spring for the backend and Angular for the frontend. This includes data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation, while ensuring high availability and minimal disruption during data transfer.
• Demonstrate a strong affinity with Java architecture and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
• Develop and maintain databases, APIs, and web services with improved performance and scalability.
• Ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance processes are in place to maintain high standards of reliability and performance.
• Oversee the ongoing maintenance and optimization of applications post-migration.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure that the code developed by junior developers is clean, performant, and secure, while following agile methodologies.

Profile:

• At least 5 years of experience in the development of software applications using the Java programming language.
• Experience collaborating with Java architects on large object-oriented design and development projects, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and as a team player.
• Experience with Java 8 or higher, Spring, SOAP, REST, and Angular is mandatory. Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD is highly appreciated.
• English fluency and proficiency in at least one of the country’s official languages.
