Job Description

Responsibilities

• SDK Development: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform and ensure the robustness of the SDK.
• Architecture and Code Quality: Lead the development efforts by providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality code through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues to ensure smooth and responsive applications.
• Unit Testing: Demonstrate a strong focus on testing by writing comprehensive unit tests and conducting UI testing using frameworks like JUnit and Espresso to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.
• Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Android development and other relevant technologies to continuously improve our applications.
• Problem Solving: Analyze and solve complex technical challenges related to mobile application development and provide creative solutions
• Code Quality and Documentation: Write clean, modular, and testable code, and maintain clear and concise documentation to facilitate collaboration within the team.
• Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, providing timely bug fixes and updates to maintain app stability.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality applications on time.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Android app development with a proven track record of delivering successful applications.
• Strong expertise in SQLite or another relation and non-relation database, including its implementation and integration into Android applications.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development and solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems like Git. Deep understanding of Android UI/UX design principles and best practices for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using Jetpack Compose, XML.
• Knowledge of Android architectural patterns (Clean, MVVM, MVP, etc.) and experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger, Hilt).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration into mobile applications.
• Experience managing the software development lifecycles
• English intermediate (B1), Ukrainian speaking level is required
