Due to the extended need for our business, we are expanding our teams and looking for some extra power on the position of 💥Junior Frontend Developer💥 to focus on frontend application development while working as a part of an agile team.

Work location:

• Galway, Ireland.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality software using agile techniques.
• Drive technology and software development best practices into the team.
• Work with the broader self-solve portal release train, release train engineer, product manager, architects, and the product owner to understand, estimate, and refine the product backlog.
• Participate in regular demonstrations of new work to the product owners and business stakeholders.

For this role, we value candidates who have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of frontend application development including JavaScript, CSS & HTML and UI frameworks.
• Experience with integrating REST APIs.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL querying.
• Good knowledge of software engineering best practices such as automated testing, refactoring and continuous integration.
• Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; technical curiosity.
