The BI Business Analyst will integrate our Quality Department and play a key role in analyzing data and generating actionable insights to drive organisational decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify their data needs and define clear analytics objectives that support business goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics frameworks, leveraging SQL and Power BI to extract, transform, and analyse datasets.
- Create compelling, clear, concise reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring business users can easily understand and act upon the insights provided.
- Conduct data validation and error-checking processes to guarantee the reliability and accuracy of analytics outputs, thereby upholding the trust in data-driven decision-making.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data to provide actionable insights that guide business strategies and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data analysis needs and provide guidance on how best to use data to achieve objectives.
- Keeping up to date with emerging trends and technologies in BI and data analysis and continually looking for ways to improve the organisation's data analysis processes and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analysis or related fields.
- +1 year of experience in Power BI for developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Previous experience in data analysis, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present analysis results clearly and understandably.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
