We are looking for a Senior build engineer with previous experience within the gaming industry. The assignment will start in february with a initial length of 6 months with possibility to extend.
The client is based in Stockholm but they have a hybrid setup.
You will be responsible for developing and supporting our build platform, tools, and services that automate game processes, transforming source code and assets into playable games. You’ll work closely with our customers (game teams) to ensure we provide services to help improve their software quality and productivity.

You will be responsible for developing and supporting our build platform, tools, and services that automate game processes, transforming source code and assets into playable games. You’ll work closely with our customers (game teams) to ensure we provide services to help improve their software quality and productivity.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in the game industry, ideally as a tool or build engineer.
- Proficiency in Azure (DevOps, compute, and storage services).
- Solid programming skills (we use Python).
- Experience in Groovy, Jenkins JobDSL, and Jenkins Pipeline or similar CI system
- Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (We use Terraform).
- Adherence to good software development practices, including code reviews and unit testing.
- Familiarity with containerization and virtualization technologies (Docker, vSphere, and Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Source Control concepts: Git, Perforce or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Gitlab or similar platforms.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, or Azure AppInsights.
- Understanding of Agile software development practices.
- Experience with As-Code management tools like Ansible and Packer.
- Familiarity with Document Databases such as Elasticsearch and MongoDB.
- Experience with Package repositories, for example Artifactory.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, PowerShell, and bash.
