Overview

:The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for analyzing and addressing cybersecurity threats while implementing and maintaining technical solutions to protect the university’s systems and data. The role focuses on mitigating insider threats and ensuring robust cybersecurity infrastructure

Key Responsibilitie

• s:Analyze and address cybersecurity threats, with a focus on insider risk
• s.Design, implement, and manage security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protectio
• n.Conduct ethical hacking, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment
• s.Lead incident response efforts for internal breaches and suspicious activitie
• s.Collaborate with university departments to enforce access control policies and mitigate risk
• s.Provide recommendations for improving security protocols and infrastructur
• e.Conduct cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives for faculty, staff, and student

Qualificati

• ons:Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related fi
• eld.5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, combining analysis and engineer
• ing.Certifications: CEH, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+ (CISSP or CISM preferr
