Your new role

• Maintain and update documentation.
• Manage the ticket queue to ensure compliance with SLA.
• Update core infrastructure and test redundancies.
• Replace and troubleshoot failed components.
• Provide technical analysis and insights for projects.
• Conduct thorough manager handovers with comprehensive documentation and training.
• Collaborate on healthcare-related projects.
• Investigate incidents to identify and resolve root causes.
• Analyse security risks and develop preventative action plans for critical threats.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience within an infrastructure network and security domain and ITIL environment.
• Cisco related certifications (CCIE/CCDA/CCNP/CCNA) and an Undergraduate Degree in an IT related field.
• Current Drivers' Licence and willing to participate in an on-call roster.
• Knowledge of releasing new software or upgrades to existing systems.
• Ability to develop operating procedures or work instructions for handover.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Implementing best practice processes, tools, and models in the Network & Security domain.
• Knowledge of design principles for core, perimeter, and Wi-Fi networks.
• Solid technical skills and experience with network protocols, software, and hardware used in LAN/WAN and Cisco products.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure during network failures and/or competing demands.
