Senior Full Stack Engineer

Base Salary: Confidential but early 6 figures

Join a top-tier investment firm specialising in alternative asset management as a key player in their real estate technology team in Dublin!

Here, you'll dive into a cloud-native tech stack of microservices, leveraging Kubernetes and modern CI/CD practices.

Their stack includes React on the frontend and Python with Node.js on the backend.

Responsibilities

• Write and deploy code that drives their real estate operations.
• Support their infrastructure and platform across all levels.
• Engage in application design and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams in an agile environment.
• Simplify complex challenges with innovative solutions.
• Build systems focused on high availability and maintainability.
• Conduct ad-hoc data reporting for business insights.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud-based service-oriented architecture and web services.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (Engineering/Mathematics/Computer Science)
• Advanced knowledge of python with a proven track record of delivering high-quality data applications
• Strong background in databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and data pipelines
• Experience in designing, delivering, and securing data-rich web applications
• Experience in a front office support environment with strong communication skills for interacting with business stakeholders.
• Interest in finance and ability to quickly learn new business concepts.
• Ability to think strategically and act tactically with exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrated curiosity, analytical skills, and resourcefulness with a proven record of ownership and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
