We are growing! Therefore, we are looking for a talented BUSINESS ANALYST for our studio in Amsterdam. Better known as YOUDA GAMES. From our studio we supply the world with Governor of Poker 3 and Monopoly Poker.

ABOUT THE JOB!

Business Analytics Playtikans have a talent for identifying bottlenecks and areas of growth potential using their ANALYTICAL skills. And want to work at a growing international company with great perks and benefits.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst you'll embark on an epic quest to wield data as your weapon and conquer the challenges of user engagement, growth, and monetization. You’ll join forces with our product managers and game makers to unlock the secrets of gameplay enhancement and user retention, all while enjoying the excitement of the gaming universe!

Last but not least you’re able to tell the data as a story and make it accessible through proper visualization for the rest of the studio.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of big data analytics, preferably for a web or mobile company, or in the online gaming industry
• Extensive experience in SQL, including daily use and a deep understanding of window functions and partitions for advanced data analysis and reporting
• Proven ability to create simple yet impactful visualizations that are intuitive, easy to interpret, and demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in communicating insights (preferably in Tableau)
• Ability to work independently and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support business decisions
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify key trends and patterns in player data, with strong attention to detail
• Great communication skills – someone who can translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders
• A team player that can work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  
  

Nice to have’s:

• Be a gamer yourself - genuine passion for video games and an understanding of what makes games fun and engaging for players
• Experience with A/B testing in a live game/service environment, including results analysis and interpretation
• Knowledge of statistics, predictive models and machine learning techniques (Python, R)
