Senior Information Security Architect

You will be joining the Accounting Tribe/Domain within Deutsche Bank's Global Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) group. Our domain is responsible for T+1 Product Control and providing the necessary information to the General Ledger from Transaction and Hedge Accounting. We are working to create simplified, reusable, consumable, application, data and infrastructure. All underpinned by our strategic partnership with Google and commitment to Cloud.

You will use your Security, Engineering and Architecture skills to support business growth through digital innovation. You will be responsible for crafting security concepts to help accomplish our business goals with focus on quality, maintainability, compliance, and ease of testing built in from the outset. As our Senior Information Security Architect, you will be working within a large team of experienced engineers and architects. In your key-role as senior expert, you will enable these teams to do the right thing, bring thought leadership while mentoring and coaching team members in all topics around security and application compliance.

Your key responsibilities

• Understand, advocate, and support the enterprise's IT security strategy
• Support the design and implementation of a Security Strategy that supports our domain’s objectives
• Develop short and long-term roadmaps for security capabilities within our specific domain, ensuring the strategies are in accordance with the global strategy, market and industry trends
• Work with project teams to help build secure architecture designs and develop (cloud-) security architectures
• Document and drive adoption of secure design and coding practices
• Analyze the current IT security environment related to our domain to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement through knowledge of current threat landscape, and to identify optimization opportunities for the technology landscape
• Identify points of architectural risks in new projects using architectural threat risk assessment and threat modeling techniques
• Collaborate with Tribe and Engineering leads to assess and remediate security vulnerabilities

Your skills and experience

• 10 years working experience in a security role related to engineering or architecture
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity required. Certified Information Security Systems Professional and/or Certified Cloud Security Professional are a plus
• In depth knowledge in the field of information security, with wide ranging knowledge in areas such as data security, identity and access, cryptography, network security, and cloud security, etc.
• Experienced in drawing network and architecture diagrams using Visio, Draw.io, etc.
• Familiarity with agile working principles and how to secure CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using threat modelling techniques such as MITRE’s ATT&CK or alternative frameworks
• Experience in Cybersecurity risk management techniques
