Junior Data Analyst

To complete our Support team based in Timisoara and support our growth in Europe, we are looking for a Junior Data Analyst.

The primary role of the Junior Data Analyst is to ensure the checks on bookings, the correct data alignment taking the information from Salesforce and comparing the accuracy of data against actual UPS ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Refresh and work on the bookings data set in order to make the upload that will support sales commissions computation;
2. Gather information from various sources and map missing information (e.g. segment, sales manager, inter-company flag);
3. Clean and pre-process data to ensure accuracy and consistency;
4. Transform data set into usable format for Anaplan upload;
5. Rework and redesign of current reports by automating data collection, transformation, and validation;
6. Implement automated data quality checks and alerts;
7. Work closely with Finance, Sales and other stakeholders to understand data requirements;

Required skill set:

• Hands-on Excel skills;

• Experience in extracting & manipulating large data sets from various sources;

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI (preferable) or Tableau;

• Demonstrated strong analytical/problem solving and organizational skills;

• Highly responsible, proactive and self-motivated with excellent attention to details;

• A strong drive for process improvement and optimization, able to work both independently and as part of a team;

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English;

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
