Full Stack Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Java Developer to join our team. The role involves active participation in all phases of the development lifecycle, including analysis, testing, and production support. There are no separate teams for these activities; all are integral to the position.

📍 Location: Krakow (with 2 office days per week + 2 onboarding days).

📄 Form of cooperation: B2B.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

• Work as part of a team of 4–6 people with a dedicated product owner. While many teams are co-located, some may be geographically distributed.
• Break down business requirements into smaller stories and deliver each one iteratively to production.
• Take responsibility for product support as part of the development process.
• Identify technical debt, maintain a healthy balance between addressing tech debt and delivering new functionality, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Design solutions for new tasks while adhering to technology guidelines and constraints.
• Collaborate with team members, often through pairing.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE REQUIRE

We are looking for candidates with the following:

• Willingness to learn and work with multiple programming languages.
• Proven experience with at least one programming language. The team primarily uses Java and JavaScript (for both client and server).
• A working knowledge of Unix systems.
• An understanding of databases from the perspective of a consumer.
• Familiarity with HTTP APIs, such as RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in English for team communication.
