Instrumentation and Control Engineer

The I&C Lead will be responsible for overseeing all Instrumentation and Control (I&C) activities in large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects. This role ensures that I&C systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The I&C Lead will manage the I&C engineering team and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead the I&C engineering activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Design Oversight: Review and approve I&C system designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Procurement & Vendor Management: Oversee procurement for I&C materials and equipment, liaise with vendors, and ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all I&C systems comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry codes (e.g., IEC, ANSI, etc.).
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the I&C engineering team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of I&C systems, ensuring successful integration, testing, and handover to the client with all necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Instrumentation, Control Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 15+ years in I&C engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Oil & Gas/EPC sector.
• Skills: Expertise in instrumentation and control systems, design, and testing; proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
