Technical Architect - Cryptography - 12 Month Contract - Onsite Abu Dhabi

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect with expertise in cryptography, embedded and mobile software development, ARM architectures, internet protocols, and mobile communications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical design skills at the architect level, and will play a key role in shaping and leading the technical direction of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Cryptography Expertise: Design and implement robust cryptographic solutions to ensure the security of systems and data across various platforms, including embedded and mobile environments.
• Embedded and Mobile Software Development: Lead the development of software solutions for embedded systems and mobile platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.
• ARM Architecture Knowledge: Utilize deep understanding of ARM architecture to optimize software solutions for ARM-based systems and embedded devices.
• Internet Protocols: Design and integrate internet protocols for efficient communication, ensuring seamless data exchange and security in connected environments.
• Mobile Communications: Oversee the development and integration of mobile communication technologies, including cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.
• Technical Design Leadership: Create high-level system architectures, conduct technical reviews, and provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and scalability.
• Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with development teams, providing mentorship and support in solving complex technical challenges, ensuring that solutions align with the strategic vision and goals.
• Documentation: Develop detailed technical documentation and design specifications to ensure clarity and consistency across teams and stakeholders.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Cryptography: In-depth knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and techniques (e.g., AES, RSA, ECC, TLS/SSL, etc.), and their implementation in both embedded and mobile environments.
• Embedded and Mobile Software Development: Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar, with hands-on experience in embedded systems and mobile application development.
• ARM Architectures: Strong understanding of ARM-based architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex series) and the ability to optimize software for these systems.
• Internet Protocols: In-depth knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc., and experience in designing solutions for efficient data transmission and security.
• Mobile Communications: Familiarity with mobile communication standards (e.g., GSM, LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) and experience in integrating communication protocols into mobile applications.
• Architectural Design Skills: Proven experience in creating and reviewing system architectures, identifying technical requirements, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to identify complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
