The Data and Analytics unit’s main responsibility is to enable the use of data in If. We build data products, develop data & analytics platforms for the Private, Commercial, and Claims business areas. About The Role

You collaborate with data engineers and data scientists on building production-ready solutions and defining best practices. You also contribute to defining data & analytics target architecture and roadmap. You secure good relations with internal customers and other stakeholders.
We offer
In the same way that we place high expectations on you as an employee, we also expect you to place high demands on us as an employer. Here are some of the benefits of working at If:
We are looking for someone with extensive SQL knowledge and experience. Experience with dbt is essential. You should be fluent in English and proficiency in one of the Nordic languages is considered beneficial. You also possess good communication skills.
Additionally, it is beneficial if you have experience with other programming languages like Python or .Net (C#). Familiarity with modern cloud-based data and analytics solutions, preferably on Microsoft Azure and/or Databricks, is also beneficial.
It is a plus if you have previous experience in developing, deploying, and owning batch and real-time data pipelines, preferably using Databricks, Data Factory, and dbt. Experience with CI/CD and ADO pipelines is appreciated. If you have previous experience with resource deployment using Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, or experience in implementing processes supporting data transformations, metadata, and data governance – you are of extra interest to us!
You will be a great fit for the role if you enjoy working as part of a team, but you're also happy to design and develop solutions on your own. You push your team forward on best practices and ways of working and you enjoy working with people from different backgrounds.
