Project Manager (Reclamation) - 2-year contract

Responsibilities

What the role is

You will be involved in managing the whole value chain of land reclamation project from concept planning, engineering design to project implementation. You will be challenged to work within resource, time and environmental constraints.

What You Will Be Working On

You will liaise with government agencies to seek the necessary approvals and budget, lead in planning and developing workable reclamation profile concepts, including gathering and analyzing of site conditions and engineering parameters such as soil, hydrodynamic and met-ocean, assessing environmental impact studies as well as project constructability. You will appoint and lead the consultants in environmental impact assessment and engineering design related works. You will lead in the appointment of contractors to implement the project, challenged with close technical coordination works with all stakeholders to ensure the implementation of projects to be on time, on budget and of high quality. You are also expected to identify potential construction related issues or contractual disputes, and effect appropriate solutions.

What We Are Looking For

Background in Civil/Environmental Engineering. Relevant experience in land reclamation, environmental impact assessment, hydrodynamic modelling, and marine structure works would be an advantage.
