Project Control Manager

Reporting into the Development Director or as advised by the management team, the Project Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing project control processes to ensure the successful planning, monitoring, and execution of projects within DarGlobal. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional with a strong background in project management, cost control, and schedule management. The Project Control Manager will collaborate with project teams to establish and maintain effective project controls, providing timely and accurate information to support decision-making.

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Assist in defining project objectives, deliverables, and key milestones.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial objectives.
• Monitor project expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Create and manage project schedules, ensuring that activities are sequenced logically and deadlines are met.
• Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments and work with project teams to identify, analyze, and prioritize risks.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Generate regular reports on project performance, including cost, schedule, and quality metrics.

Qualifications, Experiences, Core Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field
• 8-12 years of proven experience in real estate development, with a successful track record of setting up the baseline schedule, managing and delivering large masterplan community or luxury residential tower projects in the Middle East.
• Must have excellent knowledge of planning software Primavera.
• Result oriented, ensures operational excellence in areas of responsibility and delivers best results. Takes active ownership of problems and provide timely and result focused solutions. Remains outcome-driven.
• Communicates clearly and effectively (both verbal and written). Communicates timely and responsively.
• Must be currently based in UAE or Oman.
