ROLE

Level: Consultant

As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work product within due timelines in agile framework. On requirement basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. You are also expected to exhibit DevOps Technical expertise and drive the delivery of the technical requirements.

The work you will do includes:

• Design and develop AWS DevOps pipelines for various environments based on the business requirements
• Perform technical feasibility study for the design, develop, integrate, test, deploy in AWS cloud using AWS cloud native services.
• Review technical designs and perform code review for the scripts and templates created by peers and/or junior team members
• Enforce code and deployment verification rules as per the project standards to validate the builds and create scripts to run automated builds.
• Developing templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions
• Interact with onsite clients, coordinator/scrum master, analyst and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams.
  
  

Qualifications

Skills / Project Experience:

Must Have:

3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in services, AWS Kubernetes, Cloudformation Templates

• Experience in evaluating AWS Features like AWS Lambda Functions, AWS EKS, Evenbridge, S3, Security Groups, API Gateway, etc
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing CI/CD pipelines with scripting in YAML/JSON, Terraform, Infra provisioning using Cloudformation templates.
• Good understanding of the different Branching Strategies suitable for the use case.
• Experience in deploying microservices in Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge on how auto scaling and auto provisioning works in AWS environment
• Understanding of multi-tier application architectures
• Experience in continuous integration processes using either tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions.
• Ability to quickly learn and deliver on new technologies not previously experience
• Ability to communicate clearly across teams in the project
  
  

Good to Have:

Understanding of containerization, container management tools.

Understanding of Code Quality Tools, installing and integrating with DevSecOps Pipeline.

Experience in managing monitoring tools either of Cloudwatch, Dynatrace/Splunk/Data

Experience with AWS Cloud Native Services, Open source Tools.

Experience in Observability

Education:

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university   

Prior Experience:

3 – 6 years of experience working with AWS DevOps, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, Dynatrace
