Job Description

At Topcon you operate in a dynamic and international playing field. In this challenging position you are responsible for inspections, repairs and calibrations of high-quality medical instruments at our site in Capelle aan den IJssel. Since we strive for the best quality, you carry out the work safely and according procedures. You also dare to indicate if processes can be improved.

Our instruments are not only a challenge in electronics but a combination of electronics, optics and fine mechanical parts. Since we are an international company, English is essential to follow training, understand the manuals and communicate with customers and support engineers in the field.

You work closely together in a team of specialists who work to improve our repair processes and are happy to share their knowledge and experience with each other. We never stop innovating, so you continuously contribute to optimal customer satisfaction. Your focus will be on servicing and repairing OCT equipment.

Qualifications

About you!

An enthusiastic professional in electronics with a great sense for fine mechanical. You are hands-on and able to work both independently and in a team. You have several years of experience in a similar role and have the following qualifications:

• a completed secondary vocational education (MBO) in Electronics or similar
• experience with repair of medical and/or ophthalmic instruments
• understanding of the technology behind the equipment
• a determination to find out what the problem is and how to solve it
• eager to learn and the motivation to keep developing yourself
• a proactive and customer-oriented attitude
• excellent written and verbal communication in English and preferably Dutch
