Role Overview

We are looking for an Intermediate Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team. As a founding member of our ML/AI team, you will be at the forefront of developing AI-powered features and products that will revolutionize our existing systems. You will bring your expertise in machine learning and a passion for LLMs to design, implement, and refine our AI/ML solutions. This is an opportunity to make key decisions on technology and architecture in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build next-generation AI-powered features, improving and expanding our current legal recommendation system.
• Apply state-of-the-art LLMs and prompting techniques, creating new features and training models.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) on customer data and industry trends.
• Develop and optimize ML and deep learning algorithms for enhanced system performance.
• Own the entire lifecycle of machine learning projects, from conception to deployment.
• Work closely with frontend and backend engineers to integrate AI models, validating their performance and continuously improving them.
• Monitor, analyze, and facilitate continuous improvement of deployed ML models.
• Lead decisions on technology stack and platform architecture.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in ML/AI
• Proficiency in Python and ML packages such as PyTorch, Huggingface, Scikit-learn.
• Expertise in NLP, Kubernetes, and classical ML algorithms.
• Strong programming and algorithmic problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with deep learning and transformer-based architectures.
• A passion for LLMs and hands-on experience with tools like Langchain in production.
• Data preparation, cleansing, and performance tracking experience.
• Big Data technologies experience.
• Understanding of statistical concepts (particularly A/B testing).
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Candidates residing in UK, with residential VISA would be preferred
