Location: hybrid - Warrington office

Hours: 9-5:30 Monday - Friday (ad-hoc out of hours or weekend work which will be compensated) On-call every 5 weeks.

Salary: basic £30k-£40k + benefits

We are working with an established IT Infrastructure Consultancy who design, architect, configure, implement, and manage private and hybrid cloud solutions for businesses. As a Network Engineer you will deploy, monitor and support the Datacentre Lan network infrastructure and firewalls. This include Cisco, HPE and Dell switching technology and Cisco firewalls. You will build knowledge of other key products to support systems across the team. This is a great opportunity to use your expertise as well as grow in new skills and technologies.

Network Engineer - Responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor and support Datacentre LAN Network infrastructure and firewalls
• Build and use knowledge of Cisco, HPE and Dell switching technologies and Cisco firewalls
• Work alongside the team to support VMware, SAN storage, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, and Veeam backups
• Work alongside a team to share knowledge and document new processes and technologies

Network Engineer - Requirements

• Experience as an IT Support Engineer with good knowledge of LAN networking, firewalls and VPN technologies
• Beneficial if you have or are working to a CCNA accreditation or equivalent
• Experience of VLANs, trunking, routing and VPNs
• Beneficial if you have experience of VMware, Windows, Linux and Scripting
• Strong desire to learn new skills
• Good written and verbal communication
