Node.js Developer

We're collaborating with a fast-growing SaaS company in the FinTech space, based in Brussels. After securing new funding, they are looking to expand their technical team further with some back-end expertise.

Their unique application is already being used across Belgium, and they are now looking for a talented Node.js Developer to help the application succeed even more.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the development team build scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Develop cloud-based solutions on AWS to ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement microservices and serverless architectures using AWS Lambda (experience is a huge plus).
• Write efficient code while following best practices for security and performance.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help improve development processes.

Your Profile:

• Strong experience with Node.js and Typescript.
• Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3 and Lambda.
• Experience with serverless architectures or AWS Lambda is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with frameworks like Nest.js or similar tools is a bonus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch or French is a plus.
