Project Manager / Team Lead

Our client is establishing a local industrial IS/IT team to meet the changing needs of the manufacturing environment. This agile and responsive initiative underscores the company's commitment to using technology and information systems to increase operational efficiency and productivity. The new team will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless production support within a dynamic industrial environment.

As Industrial IS/IT Team Lead & Project Manager, you will guide and supervise the team's performance and ensure successful project delivery and daily operational excellence. You will oversee team activities, manage timelines, budgets, and resources, and promote consistency to meet project objectives. Your role also includes addressing challenges that arise in industrial production or during the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination:

• Planned, organized, and managed complex transnational projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Define project governance, including meeting frequencies, kick-off meetings, and steering committees.
• Monitor progress, track blockers, and report on project performance.

Team Leadership:

• Functionally coordinate and lead the team’s daily activities.
• Foster cohesion within the Industrial Network Team.
• Act as the central point of contact between local business representatives, TAS IS-JV ITD, Cybersecurity, Architecture, and local management.

Operational Efficiency

• Ensure the efficient integration of industrial information systems into operations.
• Streamline local activities while adhering to multinational standards.
• Implement standardized processes to optimize production operations.
• Strategic Contributions
• Align projects and operations with Thales Alenia Space’s global policies and standards.
• Support the team in navigating the complexities of industrial IS/IT management.

Key Profile Requirements

• Proven expertise in industrial information systems and IT management.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills, with a track record of managing IS/IT teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, transnational projects effectively.
• Experience in streamlining activities and ensuring efficiency in an industrial production environment.
• Familiarity with implementing standardized processes for operational optimization.
• Knowledge of Thales Alenia Space’s standards and operations is a plus.

Work Locations

• Mandatory full-time presence in the first quarter
• Remote: 20% remote work allowed (subject to Thales approval).
