F-Secure is looking for a UX Design Trainee to join our design community for the summer of 2025.

This is your chance to collaborate with experienced professionals, sharpen your expertise in Figma, and explore the latest design trends. As a UX Design Trainee, you’ll work closely with our Technology teams to enhance product interfaces, refine user experiences, and help shape F-Secure’s new brand direction. From designing wireframes to gathering insights from stakeholders, you’ll gain hands-on experience tackling real-world challenges in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing low to high-fidelity prototypes in Figma to enhance the usability and the experience of our products.
• Collaborating with Technology teams to translate product specifications into intuitive and visually engaging designs.
• Conducting user research to understand end-user needs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Assisting in the development of design systems and documentation to ensure consistency across our products.
  
  

This is a fixed-term opportunity for the summer of 2025, offering 3–6 months of hands-on experience in UX design. The program begins in May or June, with flexible working options at our Helsinki or Oulu offices or remotely.

Who are we looking for?

Technical Skills

• Experience using Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
• A basic understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and user-centered design practices.
• Familiarity with design systems is a plus.
  
  

Soft Skills

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about our users and their needs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and gather feedback.
• A proactive mindset with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  
  

Educational Background

• Ongoing or recently finished studies in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields.
• Relevant coursework or projects demonstrating your skills and interest in UX design.
