Summary

We are looking for an "Electronics Developer (f/m/d)" for the "Development of Sights and Optronic Vision Systems" department at the Wetzlar site as soon as possible.

In the area of "Development of sights and optronic vision systems", various disciplines such as software, optics, electronics and mechanics are combined to develop high-quality, hand-held optronic vision systems. Our observation devices combine information from multiple sensors operating at visible and infrared wavelengths to provide the user with reliable information even under the most difficult conditions and ensure mission success.

Your Tasks

• Definition of hardware and software interfaces as well as development and commissioning of video interfaces (SDI, analog)
• Design, specification and development of analog and digital circuits with µ-controllers, switching controllers, taking into account functional and economic requirements
• Creation of software test specifications, commissioning and testing of programmed products
• Creation of layouts and production documents, taking EMC aspects into account
• Maintenance, support and further development of electronic assemblies for existing products
• Ensuring that other topics such as documentation and configuration management are taken into account
• Supervision and guidance of externally contracted developments
• Participation in the conceptual development of optronic devices
• Working on tasks in an interdisciplinary team
• Accompanying the start of production and series support
  
  

Your Profile

• Completed technical studies in the field of electronics, microelectronics, technical computer science or comparable
• Many years of experience in the development (conception, specification, design, calculation and simulation) of digital and analog circuits
• Experience in the design of printed circuit boards with ECAD tools (Altium) or comparable CAD tools
• Experience in coordinating and organizing tasks within a team as well as good communication and teamwork skills
• Skills in requirements analysis and design of 32-bit microcontrollers and implementation on the hardware platform
• Knowledge of FPGA applications and / or image processing (computer vision) advantageous as well as skills in energy-saving circuit design, preferably for battery-powered devices, advantageous
• Knowledge of setting up, commissioning and evaluating tests through to full device qualification advantageous
• Programming skills in C and C++, for example for programming µ-processor circuits advantageous
• Very good analytical skills as well as a creative, pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working
• High quality awareness and a high level of personal responsibility
