About the Role

As an Innovation Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s innovation strategy by driving research and development projects, identifying new market opportunities, and building strategic partnerships. Your work will be essential in accelerating Teoresi’s expansion into emerging sectors and strengthening its technological leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Development: Collaborate with the Innovation Manager to define and implement innovation initiatives across the department’s three main areas: funded projects, university collaborations, and open/close innovation activities.
• Project Management: Lead the development and implementation of advanced technologies, with a specific focus on solutions based on artificial intelligence and blockchain.
• Networking and Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with universities, startups, and industry leaders to foster strategic collaborations.
• Fundraising: Identify and access funding opportunities at national and international levels, including programs such as Horizon Europe.
• Promoting an Innovation Culture: Spread an innovative mindset within the organization, inspiring teams and introducing advanced methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in technical disciplines (preferably Electronic, Mechanical, Computer, Automation Engineering, or related fields). A Master’s or Ph.D. will be considered a plus.

Required Skills

• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and blockchain. Familiarity with the development and management of funded projects and project management techniques. Experience with innovation methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Agile, Lean Innovation).
• Academic Networking: Ability to build and maintain relationships with Italian and international universities, demonstrating a well-established academic network.
• Proactivity and Fundraising: A knack for generating innovative ideas and turning them into tangible projects, with the ability to secure funding for innovation initiatives.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Languages: Fluency in Italian and excellent written and spoken English (minimum level C1). Knowledge of German will be considered a significant plus.
