Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency systems. You’ll join a collaborative team of engineers committed to pushing boundaries and delivering world-class solutions in the fast-paced financial domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-load, low-latency Java-based applications.
• Optimize application performance to meet stringent SLAs for real-time financial transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability of systems.
• Implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions in a high-availability environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems with a focus on minimizing downtime.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in Java software development, particularly in high-load, low-latency environments.
• Deep understanding of Java (11+), JVM internals, and multithreading, Spring/Spring Boot, Kafka.
• Expertise in performance optimization, including profiling and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with low-level programming principles (memory management, garbage collection tuning).
• Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of relational (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases, including optimization techniques.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Advantage: Experience with trading platforms or financial applications is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
