IT Technical Specialist - Tietoevry Banking (m/f/d)

We are looking for an IT Technical Specialist who wants to be part of Tietoevry Banking. Tietoevry Banking is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. We offer modular, pre-integrated banking as a service solutions and market-leading software for core, payments, credit, cards, financial fraud, and wealth. Requirements:

• Experience working as IT Technical Specialist, System or Network Engineer (or similar).
• Experience working with network equipment, such as switches and firewalls, manage, configure and follow best practices.
• Experience and good understanding of working with Windows platform products and services
• Experience and knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues and tasks independently.
• Proficiency in bash, Python or other scripting language will be considered as advantage
• Industry certifications in systems security and engineering will be considered as advantage.
• Fluent Latvian, English.
  
  
  

Responsibilities And Tasks

• Configure, maintain and administrate network, server and workstation infrastructure.
• Technical support for company departments, addressing the problems and issues with IT infrastructure and systems.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure - network, servers and workstations for potential issues and outages.
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates, ensuring stable operation, security and compliance.
• Participate in projects, provide their contribution and knowledge.
• Automate routine tasks to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implementation solutions.
