Who Will You Work With:

Our client is a prominent player in the technology sector, and you will be working with their team in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will be part of the DUXI (Driver User Experience & Interfaces) agile train, which has full HMI (Human-Machine Interface) responsibility for truck products. The team consists of 16 cross-functional development teams working to implement the instrument cluster HMI platform used by various global brands.

About the Role:

As a Platform Engineer, you will be a key part of a development team, working on concept development, defining requirements, logical design/CAN signaling, implementation, and testing. Your focus will be on evolving the HMI platform using C++ and mentoring senior developers in the team. You will also work closely with teams across the globe to enhance the HMI platform, ensuring it delivers the right customer value while staying scalable and flexible.

This role is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and follows a hybrid work model. The initial contract term is 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evolve the HMI platform using C++.
• Act as a mentor for senior developers, offering guidance, coaching, and setting up development guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on concept development, requirements, and testing.
• Contribute to platform scalability and flexibility, while maintaining a customer-centric focus.
• Engage with global teams and stakeholders to drive technological innovation.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong C++ development experience.
• Proficiency in C, Python, Qt (Linux), and CAN signaling.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Ability to mentor and coach other developers.
• Soft skills: Humble, flexible, curious, driven, team-oriented, and eager to learn.
