Full Stack Software Developer Java and Angular

What would be your mission?

• Work with the client’s subject matter experts to gather business requirements and any other relevant input.
• Perform analysis of existing processes and applications, and additional/new end user requirements.
• Design applications and micro-services addressing these requirements.
• Implement these applications and micro-services considering the technology stack and following the processes approved by FinApps.
• Support existing microservices applications for different divisions.
• Test (unit test, integration test, system test, performance test) these applications and microservices.
• Support the business during user acceptance testing and obtain business signoff.
• Documentation, reporting, and change management related to these applications and microservices.
• Active participation in agile ceremonies.
• Release preparation and release management.
• Ensure all material is stored on the client’s SharePoint environment for audit purposes.
• Identify risks and liaise on issues related to changes.
• Act as a change agent to help facilitate effective deployments/modifications to new and current industry practices; Maintain customer relationships within different divisions to ensure smooth communication.

What would be your tasks?

• Requirements documents, following the structure and formats approved by FinApps.
• Design documents, following the structure and formats approved by FinApps.
• Source code, configuration, and automated unit tests, checked in to the provided versioning system (Git), along with documentation (e.g., Javadoc and Asciidoc).
• Test results, following the structure and formats approved by FinApps.
• Items related to the change management process (approval & sign-off tickets in the client’s ticketing system ServiceNow).
• Operator and end-user documentation.
• Create and execute trainings.

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years development and rollout experience with Java and Angular in a professional environment
• Good experience of working in IT projects, preferably in a financial services context
• Proven experience with automatic testing, e.g., JUnit, Cucumber
• Proven experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate
• Proven experience with Angular 2 or comparable web framework
• Proven experience with the use of the Git version control systems
• Proven experience with HTML, ECMAScript (JavaScript) and Angular
• Good experience of working in IT projects, preferably in a financial services context
• Experience in DevOps
• Experience in estimating, forecasting, actuals tracking, project reporting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent written and spoken English

An asset:

• Experience with Apache Camel Experience with agile (Scrum) and DevSecOps
• Experience with continuous integration and continues delivery pipelines, e.g., Azure pipelines
• Experience with public cloud architectures, e.g., Microsoft Azure
• Experience with containerized environments, e.g., Docker
