UX/UI Designer - Apps

Background: Join a dynamic team of 2 other Content Designers focused on enhancing the app of a large retailer. In 2025, this app aims for significant growth with an emphasis on presenting inspirational content and increasing sales conversions within the app.

Role Expectations: As a Senior Content Designer for the app of this large retailer, you will:

• Collaborate with product, design, and development stakeholders to review initial product requirements and draft experience flows.
• Craft and direct UX copy and content ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and consistency of brand voice in the app.
• Engage in both large initiatives (aligning handoff between web, app, and in-store journeys) and smaller, quick-turn projects.
• Work closely with UX designers and researchers to lead audits, document brand voice, and refine processes.
• Write user-focused copy that emphasizes customer benefits and increases conversion.
• Evaluate and ensure brand voice consistency across the product ecosystem.
• Create and document content guidelines and processes.

Requirements:

Must-have Skills:

• Content writing background in a product environment, focusing on UX in mobile applications.
• Experience with stakeholder management.
• Strong portfolio showcasing examples of UX writing, tone-of-voice work, and specific examples for apps.
