Backend Software Developer

You will

Backend Development:

• Design and implement server-side logic, databases, and APIs using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Quarkus.
• Develop RESTful APIs to support frontend functionalities, ensuring compliance with OpenAPI specifications.
• Ensure robust, secure, and scalable backend architecture.
• Apply clean code principles and implement hexagonal architecture to maintain readability, simplicity, modularity.
  
  

Database Management:

• Design and manage NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, with 3+ years of experience.
• Optimize database queries and data storage for performance and efficiency.
  
  

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application stability.
• Collaborate with QA teams to identify and fix bugs.
  
  

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure coding standards are met.
• Use GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code reviews.
  
  

Your Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• 5+ years of experience in developing RESTful APIs.
• 2+ years of experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Familiarity with cloud solutions and services.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Quarkus for microservices development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin for backend development.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and related technologies.
