Our prominent client is seeking a UX Writer to join the Foundation Engineering team. Foundation Engineering enables the development of high-performing, highly available, near real-time mapping products.

As a UX Writer, you will contribute to delivering cutting-edge digital maps to major automakers, including BMW, VW, Audi, and Daimler. You will work on technology that collects and processes road information from various sources, handling terabytes of data, including sensor inputs from millions of cars on the road. These inputs are transformed into digital maps, which are then delivered back to vehicles for use in navigation, driver assistance, and even autonomous driving.

Developers creating new services will leverage your work to rapidly launch differentiated prototypes using templates that enforce best practices in security, availability, and efficiency, along with a minimal collection of service-specific libraries.

Who are you?

• UX writer is a UX designer who is specialized in delivering copy exposed on products, being able to fit messages to use case and company corporate brand style.
• Candidate would have to be native English speaker or have brilliant English language skills with experience in providing customer facing messages for interface purpose.
• Excellent UX and UI design skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to moderate and find solutions between multiple stakeholders
• Fluency in best practices for UX design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills, open to proactively understand and navigate complex technical dependencies
• Ability to simplify technical complexity into a logical information architecture
• The ability to design, prototype & specify UX/UI in static and dynamic ways.
• Good general experience in typography and data visualization.
• Strong technical knowledge of how web/mobile-based technologies apply to design. Strong knowledge of web and mobile paradigms on various platforms and screen sizes
• A high level of proficiency in standard UX design software tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite
• Experience with front-end technologies (CSS, HTML5) a plus
• Exceptional portfolio, with focus on UX and UI design for web, web-apps, mobile web and mobile native OSs
• Ability to work independently and pro-actively manage design tasks and projects.
• Experience working on B2B products and not afraid of technically complex solutions. BA/BS degree in Interface Design, Communications Design or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or equivalent professional experience
