Job Description

Provide second level support for incoming requests and incident reports
Assist in providing technical support to end users of IT network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure
Performs thorough analysis and diagnosis of complex networking issues
Provide network architecture for new technologies and integration into existing network
IP address management
Implementation of changes to current network services
Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend adjustments to ensure optimal response time
Maintain integrity of the network and security
Install hardware and software according with the procedures
Assist in maintaining the computing equipment inventory
Maintain relationships with third parties
Diagnose, repair and/or follow up the service process for faulty equipment
Completes and follows up all the documentation involved in daily activities

Qualifications

Proficient with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and ASA software
Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, etc.)
Strong understanding of switching technologies (VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, etc.)
Knowledge of network security practices and firewall configuration (acl, route-maps, dot1x)
Familiarity with VPN technologies
Experience with network monitoring and management tools
Ability to work with network simulation tools (GNS3, Cisco Packet Tracer)
Understanding of Quality of Service (QoS) and network optimization techniques
Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing and services
Knowledge of Checkpoint firewalls is highly appreciated
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) (optional, but highly regarded)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Committed to continuous learning and professional development
