Chief Technology Officer

We are a fast-growing media scale-up from Stockholm making it easier for users to discover and enjoy their favourite movies and series across multiple streaming platforms. We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer to drive our technical and product roadmap.

We simplify the “paradox of choice” and provide a seamless experience for discovering, enjoying, and sharing favorite films and series.

Our tech stack is: Svelte for frontend, Django/Python, postgres, AWS Fargate

We have built our own backend and systems for managing content and content catalogues as well as ways to retrieve relevant data from streamers and providers. It runs on AWS. We have a web platform and also iOS and Android apps.

We are a fairly a small but competent tech team handling quite large quantities of data.

Requirements:

• You have 7+ years of experience in hands-on fullstack software engineering
• Experience working with scalable SaaS products is a big plus
• Experience with leading product/ tech strategy and owning roadmap
• Experience leading teams
• Fluency in English (with Swedish as a bonus but not a requirement)
