Job Description: Practice Lead FI/CO & Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead teams and projects in the SAP FI/CO area, managing a multinational team in an international environment.
• Oversee implementations and support in SAP FI/CO and other ERP systems, including integration with other modules.
• Manage project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Coordinate project team activities, including planning, tracking progress, and managing priorities within projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, managing client expectations and tailoring solutions to their needs.
• Provide expertise in finance and controlling, with a focus on Polish market specifics and CEE countries, including statutory requirements and accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS).
• Work with SAP areas such as: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Banking (BK), Cost Center Accounting (CC), Profit Center Accounting (PC), Profitability Analysis (PA), Product Costing (PC), Actual Costing (ML).
• Experience in managing SAP FI/CO projects, with a focus on implementation and system management.
• Ensure the implementation and management of the system in compliance with legal requirements (including specific Polish and CEE country regulations).
• Mentor and develop team members, manage their daily work, and resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in finance and controlling in SAP (experience in other ERP systems is a plus).
• Experience in both implementation and support of SAP FI/CO systems.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably with "hands-on" experience in project management, without the need for certifications.
• Experience in people management, including managing multinational teams.
• Fluent in English (C1), with additional proficiency in German, French, or Spanish considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Polish market's finance and controlling specifics, especially statutory requirements, GAAP, IFRS, and regulations in CEE countries.
• Strong knowledge in all the SAP FI/CO areas listed: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Banking (BK), Cost Center Accounting (CC), Profit Center Accounting (PC), Profitability Analysis (PA), Product Costing (PC), Actual Costing (ML).
• Experience in Project System is a nice-to-have.
