Tech Project Manager (Fenergo AML)

Client: Big 5 Bank

Location: Downtown Toronto. 1-2 days per week in office.

Duration of Contract/Perm: 6-month contract with potential to extend or convert

Hours/week: 37.5 hours/week

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Tech PM to place at our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technology projects, particularly in the financial and regulatory sectors. This role involves overseeing the implementation of Fenergo AML solutions and managing cloud-based transformations

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage technology projects related to Fenergo AML solutions.
• Oversee the transformation of systems and processes from A to B, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
• Manage cloud-based projects, specifically Fen-Xcelerate (Cloud EX) implementations.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Implement and adhere to project management best practices and methodologies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tech Project Manager, preferably in the financial or regulatory environment.
• Strong knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) processes and solutions.
• Experience with Fenergo AML solutions and cloud-based project implementations.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of technology and software development processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Fen-Xcelerate or similar cloud-based solutions, e.g., Cloud EX
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with financial applications and systems.
