Job Description

• To lead the design, development, and implementation of custom Fiori/UI5 applications to address complex business requirements. The ideal candidate will oversee the development of intuitive, responsive, and scalable user interfaces within SAP landscapes, using SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 technologies. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and SAP architects to ensure that the applications meet business goals, improve user experience, and align with SAP best practices.
• Lead and mentor the Fiori/UI5 development team, ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and development standards.
• Provide guidance on complex technical challenges, ensuring that Fiori/UI5 solutions meet the specific business requirements.
• Design and develop custom Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and other related technologies (e.g., OData services, Fiori Elements, Fiori Launchpad).
• Implement modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SAP Fiori Design Guidelines to build intuitive and responsive UIs for complex business processes.
• Develop custom OData services for seamless data integration between SAP backend systems (such as SAP S/4HANA) and the frontend applications.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand the business requirements, translating them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Conduct feasibility analysis for the development of custom Fiori/UI5 applications to meet complex user interface and integration requirements.
• Architect, design, and document the technical solution for Fiori/UI5 applications, ensuring the solution aligns with both business and technical objectives.
• Design and develop integration solutions using SAP Gateway, OData services, REST APIs, or Web Services to connect Fiori/UI5 applications with backend SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, etc.)
• Ensure smooth data exchange between SAP Fiori applications and backend systems, addressing complex integration and data transformation needs.
• Troubleshoot and optimize backend integration processes to improve performance and ensure the reliability of data exchange.
• Ensure that all Fiori/UI5 applications are designed with a focus on user experience (UX), adhering to SAP's UX guidelines and the latest design trends.
• Work with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces that improve user adoption and engagement.
• Continuously review and improve the usability and responsiveness of Fiori/UI5 applications, optimizing performance for various devices and platforms.
• Implement best practices for efficient development, leveraging SAP Fiori Design Principles, SAPUI5 performance tuning techniques, and efficient data management strategies.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team to enhance the collective expertise in Fiori/UI5 development.

Qualifications

• Designing and building applications consistent with the SAP Fiori Application Architecture, including SAP application templates (e.g.: Worklist, Master-Detail) , Smart Controls, Smart Templates, Fragments and Themes.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP UI5 (JavaScript), HTML, CSS, JQuery or SAP Fiori design and development.
• Strong Exposure in developing user-centric interfaces, optimizing web performance, and integrating SAP systems with front-end applications.
• Experience in Incorporating Dynamic UI content creation to ensure construction of responsive UI5 applications, smooth cross-application navigation & integration and integration of multiple OData services into a single UI5 application.
• Hands on working experience on SAP NetWeaver ABAP Stack environments using:
• - ABAP Objects, ABAP Reports, ABAP online transactions.
• Experience with development tools like Web IDE and SAP UI5 tools for eclipse.
• Experience with 3 or more SAP implementation projects
